FOOTBALLER'S MATCH-DAY MEAL PLAN

BREAKFAST: 2–3 HOURS BEFORE MATCH

Choose ONE:

  • Oats with milk + banana

  • Whole-grain toast + peanut butter + fruit

  • Scrambled egg + toast + orange

💡 Why: Slow energy + muscle support 🚫 Avoid: fried food, chocolate, fizzy drinks

⏱️ 60–90 MINUTES BEFORE MATCH

✅ Light snack

Choose ONE:

  • Banana

  • Small peanut butter sandwich

  • Apple Slice

💡 Why: Quick fuel without heaviness

⏱️ WITHIN 30–60 MINUTES AFTER MATCH (VERY IMPORTANT)

✅ Recovery snack

Choose ONE:

  • Milk + banana

  • Yogurt + fruit

  • Chicken wrap (small)

  • Egg sandwich
