Improving Health Through Football

Windy Foundation is the community impact division of Windy Sport Group, focused on tackling childhood obesity and improving health through football-led activity.

Our Mission

To ensure every child has access to:

  • Structured football sessions

  • A safe and supportive environment

Why We Exist

In Thurrock, nearly half of children by the end of primary school are overweight or obese.

Despite this, there is currently no dedicated grassroots football-led programme specifically targeting childhood obesity at the primary school level.
